The Boy Scouts of America has adopted a new policy of Girls to join the Scouts at both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts level, under the newly named family scouting program. Previously the Venturing, Sea Scouting, and Exploring programs have been co-ed but now both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts programs will be co-ed.
Pack 352 will be recruiting girls along with the boys to join and participate as members of the Cub Scouts in the upcoming 2018-2019 school year.
The Boy Scouts of America is also formally introducing Lions (Kindergarteners) amongst the ranks of Cub Scouts in the new school year. Pack 352 will be welcoming the would be Lions in the new school year.
To any parents that would like to sign up their sons or daughters for the scouts, at any grade level, please remember that the Cub Scouts only happens because of the tremendous work of parents who volunteer to be Den leaders and take on roles within the Pack to make all the events, activities, and meetings happen.
No matter how many would be girl scouts or Lions want to register, without the proper number of volunteers to be den leaders, we cannot accommodate the new would be scouts. Please consider volunteering with the Pack.
We will be sharing more information on this website regarding the Lions program and family scouting as the new school year nears.
