Q: Does my son have to be enrolled at Stoneleigh Elementary School to join?A: No. Any boy between ages 7 and 10 (or 1st grade to 5th grade) can be part of Cub Pack 352.
Q: How much does it cost to join?
A: The due for the entire year is $95. There will be events and activities throughout the year that will have costs associated with the event.
Q: What else do I have to purchase?
A: Each scout will be given the Neckerchief and slider. The family of each scout will need to purchase the uniform, which consists of shirt, short/pants, belt, cap, and pack insignia.
Q: Is the Cub Scouts a non-profit organization?
A: Yes, Pack 352 is a non-profit, all volunteer group. We are all parents/guardians of an active scout. Support and participation of scout parents are crucial to well-functioning pack.
Q:What is Youth Protection Training?
A: Every adult involved, including parents, are all required to attend Youth Protection Training that trains protection to protect children from Child Abuse. Adults in Pack leadership are required to complete additional leadership training through Boy Scouts of America.
Q: What is a pack and what is a den?
A: A pack is a group of dens. Dens are organized by the scouts’ grade. In order to graduate to the next level, each scout must complete and achieve the required achievements throughout the year.
